Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Stages - 2021 by Tony Cragg was auctioned at Artcurial in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 170,560.00. Admittedly, works by Tony Cragg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Constant Change in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 849,062.00 (€ 984,851.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Stages - 2021 von Tony Cragg kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 170.560,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tony Cragg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Constant Change im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 849.062,00 (€ 984.851,03).
