Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Christies in London held the auction Nordic Art, which included the work Untitled (Clouds) by Tom Sandberg. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,770.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Sandberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, 2006, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,794.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nordic Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Clouds) von Tom Sandberg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.770,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Sandberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, 2006 beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.794,07) versteigert wurde.
