Auction result fails to reach estimate
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work A road going through a forest by Theodor Philipsen for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.36). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodor Philipsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Ved Hindsgavl in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 7,500.00 (€ 6,554.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A road going through a forest von Theodor Philipsen für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodor Philipsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Ved Hindsgavl im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 7.500,00 (€ 6.554,80).
