Account of the battles fought by 'Ali, Persian manuscript, 238ff. plus 2 fly-leaves, each with four columns of 19ll. of black nasta'liq on buff paper, the columns seperated by two gold rules, the text boxes with gold margins within red and blue rules, some pages with red headings, the beginning with a double page of unfinished illumination, 33 illustrations, lacquer binding with polychrome floral ornament, central cusped medallions and leather edges, the doublures with floral pattern sprouting into a contained arch from a central vase, a few localised stains
