The work The Gale by Sybil Andrews was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December this year. It achieved a price of GBP 12,800.00 (€ 14,745.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Admittedly, works by Sybil Andrews have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Speedway (C. Sa 29) in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 71,251.03).

Die Arbeit The Gale von Sybil Andrews kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 12.800,00 (€ 14.745,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sybil Andrews auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Speedway (C. Sa 29) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 71.251,03).
