Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Peevies by Sybil Andrews for GBP 1,792.00 (€ 2,064.32). This price was achieved in the auction The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sybil Andrews achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Speedway (C. Sa 29) in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 71,251.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Peevies von Sybil Andrews für GBP 1.792,00 (€ 2.064,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sybil Andrews erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Speedway (C. Sa 29) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 71.251,03).
