Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hauling by Sybil Andrews was sold in the The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde auction at Bonhams in London in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,680.00 (€ 8,847.07). Admittedly, works by Sybil Andrews have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Speedway (C. Sa 29) in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 71,251.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hauling von Sybil Andrews wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.680,00 (€ 8.847,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sybil Andrews auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Speedway (C. Sa 29) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 71.251,03).
