Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Christies in London held the auction Modern British Art Day Sale, which included the work Structure by Stephen Gilbert. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,457.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Stephen Gilbert have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Man and Horse was auctioned for GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,722.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Structure von Stephen Gilbert zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.457,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Stephen Gilbert konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit Man and Horse für GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.722,34) versteigert.
