In June 2019 Christies in London held the auction Modern British Art Day Sale, which included the work Composition by Stephen Gilbert. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,267.41), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Stephen Gilbert have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,722.34) in May 2007 for the work Man and Horse.

Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Stephen Gilbert zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.267,41) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Stephen Gilbert haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.722,34) im Mai 2007 für die Arbeit Man and Horse beobachtet.
