RUSSIAN, 18TH CENTURY
A companion piece to the preceding lot, of similar shape, depicting St. Mark also in a scriptorium with comparable surroundings, in addition, at the far left a lectern with a book, painted with earthy colours, the red colour of the building at the right complimenting the green vestments of the saint
