The work Portrait of a dog by Simon Simonsen was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year. The auction ended at the price of DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.61), which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of DKK 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Simonsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dachshund Puppies in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,639.46).
Zuschlag beim Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Portrait of a dog von Simon Simonsen wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,61) entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Simonsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dachshund Puppies im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.639,46).
