Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Simon Simonsen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work A landscape with a shepherd boy resting with his herd by a dolmen changed hands for DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,138.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Simonsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dachshund Puppies in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,639.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Simon Simonsen konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit A landscape with a shepherd boy resting with his herd by a dolmen für DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.138,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Simonsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dachshund Puppies im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.639,46).
