Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A dachshund by Simon Simonsen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 6,500.00 (€ 870.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Simonsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dachshund Puppies in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,639.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A dachshund von Simon Simonsen kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 870,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Simonsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dachshund Puppies im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.639,46).
