Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vessels at their moorings; and Boats in the bay by Silvio Poma was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2014. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,072.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Silvio Poma have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Veduta del lago di Lecco dalla Valmadrera in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 14,000.00.

Die Arbeit Vessels at their moorings; and Boats in the bay von Silvio Poma kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.072,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Silvio Poma auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Veduta del lago di Lecco dalla Valmadrera im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.000,00.
