Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Valmadrera, il Cornisciolo, corteo nuziale by Silvio Poma was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 9,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 8,000.00. Other works by Silvio Poma have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2014 by the work Veduta del lago di Lecco dalla Valmadrera at EUR 14,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Valmadrera, il Cornisciolo, corteo nuziale von Silvio Poma im November 2013 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 9.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 8.000,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Silvio Poma wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2014 die Arbeit Veduta del lago di Lecco dalla Valmadrera mit EUR 14.000,00.
