Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggio con gregge by Silvio Poma was auctioned at Il Ponte in October 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 750.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Silvio Poma achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Veduta del lago di Lecco dalla Valmadrera in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 14,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggio con gregge von Silvio Poma im Oktober 2014 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 750,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Silvio Poma erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Veduta del lago di Lecco dalla Valmadrera im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.000,00.
