Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Christies in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, Part I, which included this untitled work by Shakir Hassan Al Said. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 94,500.00 (€ 109,503.92), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Shakir Hassan Al Said have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 175,250.00 (€ 204,211.81) in June 2021 for the work Hob Al-Watan Min Al Iman (Loving The Homeland Is Part Of Faith).

Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, Part I durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shakir Hassan Al Said zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 109.503,92) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Shakir Hassan Al Said haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 175.250,00 (€ 204.211,81) im Juni 2021 für die Arbeit Hob Al-Watan Min Al Iman (Loving The Homeland Is Part Of Faith) beobachtet.
