In November 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Wired: Online Auction, which included the work Untitled Painting in Purple on Purple by Sayre Gomez. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,032.93), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sayre Gomez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Valley Boy in September this year with an auction result of USD 88,900.00 (€ 83,994.71).

Im November 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Wired: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled Painting in Purple on Purple von Sayre Gomez zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.032,93) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sayre Gomez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Valley Boy im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.900,00 (€ 83.994,71).
