The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,489.67), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sayre Gomez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Valley Boy in September this year with an auction result of USD 88,900.00 (€ 83,994.71).
