The work Untitled (Painting in Cerulean) by Sayre Gomez was sold in the HEATWAVE: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in July 2019. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,489.67), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sayre Gomez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Valley Boy in September this year with an auction result of USD 88,900.00 (€ 83,994.71).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Painting in Cerulean) von Sayre Gomez wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion HEATWAVE: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.489,67) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sayre Gomez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Valley Boy im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.900,00 (€ 83.994,71).
