Upper estimate price exceeded by 26 %.
The work Chrysanthemum by Sanyu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in February last year. It achieved a price of HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,307.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sanyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Nudes in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 303,985,000.00 (€ 35,256,632.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemum von Sanyu kam im Februar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.307,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sanyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Nudes im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 303.985.000,00 (€ 35.256.632,18).
