Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction The Great Wonderful: 100 Years of Italian Art, which included this untitled work by Salvatore Emblema. The price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,164.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salvatore Emblema - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled/Fascia, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 113,698.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion The Great Wonderful: 100 Years of Italian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Salvatore Emblema zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.164,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Emblema mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled/Fascia beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 113.698,38) versteigert wurde.
