Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At the Edge of the Pool by Roby Dwi Antono was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 17,414.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roby Dwi Antono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Asih in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 299,178.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit At the Edge of the Pool von Roby Dwi Antono kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 17.414,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roby Dwi Antono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Asih im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 299.178,08).
