Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Summer's goodbye by Robert William Wood for USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,393.83). This price was achieved in the auction Home & Interiors at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert William Wood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Floral hillside in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 21,325.00 (€ 19,038.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Summer's goodbye von Robert William Wood für USD 1.536,00 (€ 1.393,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Home & Interiors bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert William Wood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Floral hillside im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.325,00 (€ 19.038,48).
