Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Maple Sugaring Time by Robert Wakeham Pilot. The price achieved of CAD 7,800.00 (€ 5,827.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Wakeham Pilot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Maples, Quebec From Levis in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 83,000.00 (€ 60,487.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maple Sugaring Time von Robert Wakeham Pilot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 7.800,00 (€ 5.827,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Wakeham Pilot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Maples, Quebec From Levis im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 83.000,00 (€ 60.487,03).
