The price achieved of CAD 39,000.00 (€ 28,002.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Wakeham Pilot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Maples, Quebec From Levis, which sold at auction in November 2011 for CAD 83,000.00 (€ 60,487.03).
