Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2004 Christies in London held the auction AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS OF ART, which included the work The orange sellers, Cairo by Robert Thegerström. The price achieved of GBP 1,314.50 (€ 1,967.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Thegerström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Motiv från Frankrike" (French landscape) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 110,000.00 (€ 12,012.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS OF ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit The orange sellers, Cairo von Robert Thegerström zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.314,50 (€ 1.967,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Thegerström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Motiv från Frankrike" (French landscape) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 110.000,00 (€ 12.012,67).
