This artwork by Robert Pinchon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in August 2017. In the Living with Art auction, the work Bateau sur la Seine, Rouen sold for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,788.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Pinchon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le bassin aux nymphéas au jardin des plantes à Rouen in May last year with an auction result of USD 73,080.00 (€ 68,101.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Pinchon erzielte im August 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Living with Art wurde die Arbeit Bateau sur la Seine, Rouen für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.788,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Pinchon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le bassin aux nymphéas au jardin des plantes à Rouen im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.080,00 (€ 68.101,76).
