The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,911.96), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Panitzsch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing boats at the quay, Copenhagen, which sold at auction in August 2002 for GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,417.62).
