Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A melody from the heart by Robert Alexander Hillingford. The price achieved of GBP 525.00 (€ 651.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Alexander Hillingford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The morning of Waterloo in September this year with an auction result of GBP 40,960.00 (€ 40,960.00).

Im August 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A melody from the heart von Robert Alexander Hillingford zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 525,00 (€ 651,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Alexander Hillingford erzielen.
