Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Offset # 4 by Richard Larter was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in November 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 6,462.50 (€ 3,644.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Larter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Outlook I-Vii (7) in November 2007 with an auction result of AUD 74,400.00 (€ 44,818.30).
