A top price for Riccardo Pellegrini - as previously expected
The work Una Partita Ai Dadi: Soldiers Playing Dice by Riccardo Pellegrini was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,426.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Una Partita Ai Dadi: Soldiers Playing Dice is the most expensive artwork by Riccardo Pellegrini that we have observed at auctions so far.
