Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le vent en témoigne (The Wind Testifies) by Rhee Seundja was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 5,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 5,625,000.00 (€ 637,148.79). Other works by Rhee Seundja have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 5,670,000.00 (€ 673,150.68) in May last year for the work Subitement la loi (A Sudden Law).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le vent en témoigne (The Wind Testifies) von Rhee Seundja kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 5.625.000,00 (€ 637.148,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Rhee Seundja haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.670.000,00 (€ 673.150,68) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Subitement la loi (A Sudden Law) beobachtet.
