Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction The Dog Sale, which included the work Sealyhams by Reuben Ward Binks. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,792.00 (€ 2,076.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Reuben Ward Binks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Flat-coated Retriever, which sold at auction in November this year for GBP 6,400.00 (€ 7,416.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Dog Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sealyhams von Reuben Ward Binks zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.792,00 (€ 2.076,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Reuben Ward Binks mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Flat-coated Retriever beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für GBP 6.400,00 (€ 7.416,21) versteigert wurde.
