Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Natura Morta by Renato Paresce was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 27,150.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Renato Paresce - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La fenêtre II, which sold at auction in November 2010 for EUR 78,920.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Natura Morta von Renato Paresce wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 27.150,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Renato Paresce mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La fenêtre II beobachtet, die im November 2010 für EUR 78.920,00 versteigert wurde.
