Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer, which included the work ‘Cave Chaps, Maggie'S Back!’ by Raymond Allen Jackson. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 853.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raymond Allen Jackson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Really! I've always wanted to meet a financial journalist! in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,509.58).

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer durch, in der auch die Arbeit ‘Cave Chaps, Maggie'S Back!’ von Raymond Allen Jackson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 853,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raymond Allen Jackson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Really!
