The work Untitled (Landscape) by Ram Kumar was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 139,875.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Admittedly, works by Ram Kumar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vagabond in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,161,000.00 (€ 734,577.67).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) von Ram Kumar wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 139.875,02) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ram Kumar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vagabond im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.161.000,00 (€ 734.577,67).
