In June 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Chinese Works of Art, which included the work Chrysanthemums, 1904 by Pu Hua. The »bidding war« ended at USD 12,112.50 (€ 10,223.24), 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Hua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,200,000.00 (€ 373,845.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Chinese Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chrysanthemums, 1904 von Pu Hua zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 12.112,50 (€ 10.223,24) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Hua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.200.000,00 (€ 373.845,32).
