Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Sunlight over the breakers by Poul Friis Nybo was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in September this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 6,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Poul Friis Nybo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior with a woman at the mirror in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 21,000.00 (€ 18,353.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Sunlight over the breakers von Poul Friis Nybo im September diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 6.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,28) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Poul Friis Nybo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interior with a woman at the mirror im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 21.000,00 (€ 18.353,43).
