Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Luccio, triglie, melograno, funghi, un gatto e una rosa by Pier Francesco Cittadini was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Christies in Milan in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 32,960.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pier Francesco Cittadini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of A Young Lady, Three-Quarter-Length, In An Embroidered And Jeweled Dress With Pink Ribbons In Her Hair, which sold at auction in April 2006 for USD 102,000.00 (€ 80,798.48).
