Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2004 Christies in London held the auction COLLECTION DE MADAME X., which included the work La Faune et la Nymphe endormie by Pierre Yves Tremois. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,553.50 (€ 2,325.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Yves Tremois - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Babouin - 1973, which sold at auction in December 2020 for EUR 6,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion COLLECTION DE MADAME X. durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Faune et la Nymphe endormie von Pierre Yves Tremois zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.553,50 (€ 2.325,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Yves Tremois mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Babouin - 1973 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für EUR 6.240,00 versteigert wurde.
