A top price for Pierre Amédée Marcel-Béronneau - as previously expected
The work French Salome by Pierre Amédée Marcel-Béronneau was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 48,500.00 (€ 67,912.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, French Salome is the most expensive artwork by Pierre Amédée Marcel-Béronneau that we have observed at auctions so far.
