Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pierre Ambrogiani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in December 2010. In the Paintings of Provence auction, the work La Mort Du Poête sold for EUR 2,933.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Ambrogiani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Port De St. Tropez, which sold at auction in May 2012 for EUR 11,583.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Ambrogiani erzielte im Dezember 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paintings of Provence wurde die Arbeit La Mort Du Poête für EUR 2.933,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Ambrogiani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Port De St. Tropez beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für EUR 11.583,00 versteigert wurde.
