Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Telltale verde II by Piero Dorazio was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Dorazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Troppo segreto, 1961 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 819,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Telltale verde II von Piero Dorazio wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 40.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Dorazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Troppo segreto, 1961 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 819.000,00.
