Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work A & Z I by Piero Dorazio was worth EUR 16,000.00 to a buyer in November this year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Dorazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Troppo segreto, 1961 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 819,000.00.

Die Arbeit A & Z I von Piero Dorazio war einem Käufer im November diesen Jahres EUR 16.000,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Dorazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Troppo segreto, 1961 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 819.000,00.
