Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sixty Watt Silver Lining by Peter Linde Busk was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,412.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Peter Linde Busk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Great Perfected Being in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,607.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sixty Watt Silver Lining von Peter Linde Busk kam im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.412,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Linde Busk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Great Perfected Being im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.607,93).
