Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Nu drape U/458 - 2000 by Peter Klasen. The price achieved of EUR 6,298.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Klasen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Bouche D’Incendie (The Fire Mouth) in April 2016 with an auction result of EUR 91,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nu drape U/458 - 2000 von Peter Klasen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.298,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Klasen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Bouche D’Incendie (The Fire Mouth) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 91.500,00.
