Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction BLÅ – A Life Estate H065, which included this untitled work by Peter Frie. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,928.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Peter Frie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Passing no 4" in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 250,000.00 (€ 27,328.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion BLÅ – A Life Estate H065 durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Frie zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.928,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Frie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Passing no 4" im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 250.000,00 (€ 27.328,17).
