Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Landscape With Rainbow) by Pauline Boty was sold in the Modern & Post-War British Art auction at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The price achieved of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 49,978.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pauline Boty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work With Love to Jean-Paul Belmondo in June last year with an auction result of GBP 1,159,500.00 (€ 1,347,009.17).
