The price achieved of USD 25,850.00 (€ 29,733.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Weber - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In the Catskills, which sold at auction in May 2000 for USD 70,500.00 (€ 75,578.90).
