Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Shepherd tending to his sheep by a mountain stream by Paul Weber. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,406.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Weber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In the Catskills in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 70,500.00 (€ 75,578.90).
